Erin and baby Sydney; Mac ‘n Cheese – Fri. Oct. 9, 2015

Cindy picked up Erin this evening and they met Aletha, Vivian, and baby Sydney for dinner at Lemon Grass restaurant. Erin and Cindy both raved over how cute Sydney is.

Last night when Clark and I were playing bridge, Erin called just as a hand was finishing up. I was able to talk to her for a couple of minutes before the next round started. She was in panic about something, but I couldn’t figure out what. I asked if she had fallen or broken something, and if she was in the kitchen, the bathroom, or the garage, and she said no to all of these questions. But, she said that I wasn’t going to like it. I thought that maybe she had broken a china lamp, but she said no to that, too.

I asked if she wanted Brandon to come over, and she said no. So, I hung up and called Brandon, and asked if he could call her and find out what was wrong. A short while later I had a text from him. He said that she had dropped mac ’n cheese on the living room carpet. He decided it could wait and didn’t come over to the house. He said that she was quite lucid.

When we got home, we found her with the vacuum cleaner and orange cheese stained towels working to clean the mess up. We got most of the spot out with rug cleaner and soap and water. It was a relief that Erin was not hurt.

Too bad about the mac ‘n cheese spill. She must have panicked.
Nice to see her with the cute baby.
