My sister Patricia arrived from Denver this morning to play in the upcoming Sacramento Regional bridge tournament next week. Brandon, Beck and Lisa joined us for dinner. Beck entertained himself playing with the Fisher-Price toys that my children used to play with about 45 years ago.
We had our Tuesday lunch out today at the Cheesecake Factory, one of Erin’s favorite restaurants. She raved about her huevos rancheros and I loved my tortilla soup and tasty green salad. After eating delicious bread while waiting for lunch to come, I had no room left for my half (yes, that is a half) of a turkey sandwich., so I brought it home for Clark to have for dinner.
Grocery shopping is one of Erin’s favorite activities. She pushed the cart around when I got side tracked and stopped pushing it.

We went to Brandon and Lisa’s for Mother’s Day dinner tonight. Lisa’s folks, Chuck and Joleen were there, too. Brandon barbecued salmon and very tender rib eye steaks which Joleen had marinated. (Joleen is an excellent Italian cook.) He also grilled vegetables. For dessert there was homemade ice cream.
At one point Beck organized dancing on the patio: First Beck with his Mom, then Clark with me, and then Erin with Brandon.
Erin was lively and actively participated in the conversation.
