I took Erin to AT&T late this afternoon and next door is Bandera’s restaurant. She wanted to get their chicken and mashed potatoes to take out for her dinner. So, we stopped in at Bandera’s first to leave her order. The friendly hostess mentioned that Erin could take out a whole chicken and a side of mashed potatoes for the the same price. Then we found out that for $3 more she could get a whole quart of mashed potatoes. She had planned to bring home a side of cole slaw and a side of corn bread for Clark. She ended up with a complete dinner for all 3 of us. In fact, there was enough food for 5 or 6 people.
The hostess said the order would be ready in about 20 min. So, we said we were going next door (not mentioning AT&T.) We had been at AT&T less than 5 min when the hostess arrived bearing a shopping bag full of Erin’s dinner purchases. The AT&T clerk kept mentioning how good it all smelled.
