Erin had a medical appt at Kaiser Morse this afternoon, so Steve brought her and I met them at Kaiser. She has her Speech and Physical Therapy appts tomorrow here at Kaiser Point West, so she is spending the night with us. She was extremely lucid talking to the cute doctor with my just needing to fill in a few nouns. He was quite interested in her case because he has a friend who has had a gliobalstoma for 6 years. Now, tonight Erin took pain medication because her legs hurt so much, so she does not seem as lucid, struggling to converse.
Clark and I played bridge tonight and left her alone. When she lived with us for 13 months, we never left her alone, but she stays by herself in Davis all the time, and she assured us she would be ok. She texted me several times with photos from SaveMart ads …. hoping that we would stop and pick her up something to eat from SaveMart! I should have had the sense to call her before we left the Bridge Center and headed home.
