|When the doorbell rang at 2 o’clock today there was Paco with face
beaming, bearing Chocolate Chip cookies and Snicker Doodles.
(I first heard of Snicker Doodles about 30 years ago from my niece
Mary, an avid cookie maker.) Paco helped Mišelka shop for the
ingredients at Trader Joe’s and helped put the groceries away.
I always note that children behave much better when their parents
are not around.
Steve has been at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance for
past few days:
It takes place on the 18th hole at Pebble Beach, one of the most
beautiful holes in golf.
Paco went to visit his cousins Kayla and Alyssa in the Bay Area
spending Tuesday night with them. Mišelka and Tommy picked
him up Wed. Then Thursday they took Paco’s friend Tony to
celebrate Tony’s birthday at Sun Splash Water Park in Rocklin.
Mišelka worked as an au pair last year in Rocklin, so she knows
all about Sun Splash.
Friday they went to Six Flags in Vallejo where they hung out
with the family that Mišelka had worked for in Rocklin. Then
Saturday Tony’s mom, Sara, and Tony’s younger brother
went with M and the boys back to the Amusement Park
division of Sun Splash.
So, Paco has had a good final week of vacation before school
starts next Tuesday.
