Tour de Force: a French expression meaning an exceptional creative achievement, a particularly adroit manoeuvre, or a difficult feat
How good to see Steve’s parents in the Thanksgiving picture. The names Abu and Aba remind me of my childhood friend who was born in
Chile. Their grandmother was always called “Abuelita”. Grandparents are such an important part of kids’ lives.
We came back Friday after a week in Pennsylvania. Nov. 23 Tom celebrated his retirement from the naval reserves after 20 years. He works as a civilian in the Naval Supply Center. Many of his friends from the navy were there. And Toni’s brothers and family were there. It was like a mini family reunion. Grandson Danny played the Star Spangled Banner. He and Jeanne returned home earlier since Bob and Bobby did not attend. We had a relaxing week.
Hope your holiday was good.
