Steve reporting:

We had a busy fun weekend. On Friday evening, we all went to Paco’s first baseball game of the season. Erin, Tommy, my mother, and I were all there to see his team win 19-0… I was umping from behind the plate.

He had another game on Saturday. This one was a much closer-caught battle. Both teams played extremely hard. It was tied 6-6 going into the bottom of the sixth inning. Paco was up with one out and a teammate on first. He nailed a solid double into deep right field to drive in the winning RBI!

During the game, Tommy played nonstop with the little brothers and sisters of Paco’s teammates. He had insisted on bringing some of his toy trains to share with them.

Still riding the adrenaline rush, we went to our friends’ home for a party. It was a late night and Paco and Tomas passed out quickly when we go home.

Today was St. Patricks, so we continued our tradition of corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes. My parents once again joined us… It is great having them just ten minutes away.
