Erin says she has the worse cold she has ever had.  Turns out Steve and his Mom,  Judy, also have colds.  I didn’t even realize Erin had a cold … no fever, no cough, no sneezing, but she stayed in bed most of the day. She did order a Jamba juice for sick people and a cinnamon roll, both of which Clark picked up on his way home from bridge this afternoon. And I fed her some roasted vegetables on a toothpick.

Steve, his folks, and the boys arrived around 6 pm to visit with Erin before they went to the annual Christmas Eve hors d’oeuvres, and white elephant exchange at Brandon and Lisa’s.  I stayed home with Erin and got organized for tomorrow’s brunch.

Misel, (pronounced Michelle) the au pair, stopped in to visit with Erin this evening.  She has a very calming effect. She brought Erin a painting she had done for Erin and the two of them chatted for over an hour. She will be coming back tomorrow, along with Mike and Judy.  Steve and the kids are spending the night here, so I imagine we will hear small voices early Christmas morning.

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and thank you for all your comments and emails and good wishes.
